In 2009, I created the Polyamorous Collection, which is a series of songs, videos, and artwork exploring the world of love, sex and romance. Each month in 2009 I chose a new topic and released a song, video, and musing to go along with it.

The title “Polyamorous” was inspired when I stumbled upon the word in my quest for understanding what it is to love unconditionally.

To me, polyamorous represents our ability to fall in love with everyone on the planet. What a nice place it would be if we were all in love. The Polyamorous Collection is dedicated to that part of you that screams freedom, unconditional love, and play.

-------Foreword---------
For the record (and because I was asked about it): No, I do not lead a "polyamorous lifestyle". While I respect and am fascinated by anyone evolved enough to live one, it is not for me.

How this album started: I was in the middle of a major battle with jealousy. Bound and determined to be free of it, I began obsessively exploring any and all options to assist me.

In making the album, I had the pleasure of researching an incredible variety of relationships and lifestyles. I interviewed people from all walks of life; gay, straight, married, divorced, polyamorous, some right up the middle, some extreme left, and everything in between. It was a fascinatingly large landscape of love and relationship; an endless variety of possibilities that I had never thought to exist.

Namely, it taught me that there is no "right" way to have loving partnership. Whichever path we walk, to have a loving, healthy, passionate relationship is a journey that takes a tremendous amount of bravery and commitment.
