I'm sorry that it hurt so much I'm sorry that it was my touch That scarred your soul Baby did I go to deep? Did I make you weep When I cut that hole When did you change? You were soft and sweet Now you're black and blue, like me Where did you go? Were you lying all this time With the child still inside? Why don't you just tell the truth? Why don't you just tell the truth? Oh you were never gonna stay I'm sorry that it hurt so much I'm sorry that I choked you up With all my pain Guess you found someone new to bandage up your wounds but it's all the same When will you change? How long you gonna drain that well Put it on someone else When will you know, You were lying all this time With the child still inside? Why don't you just tell the truth? Why don't you just tell the truth? Why don't you just tell the truth? Oh you were never gonna stay

Consoling me while i talk all night You may think you are wasting time But in between the lines we see I am yours I am yours Take all of me Even when it's ugly I am yours I am yours Keep holding me like you do Let me know it's alright Let me know it's alright Take all of me Even when it's ugly I am yours I am yours Keep holding me like you do Let me know it's alright Let me know it's alright Just Let me know it's alright Let me know it's alright Baby, Alright Baby, Alright

Don't waste this precious time we're all born to die All we have is now So choose to live it well Wherever I go you are always on my mind Wherever you are you are never left behind Don't Sleep All Day Baby Jay It's time to wake Breathe deep my dear Your chariot awaits And may you always live in peace Just let go and feel the breeze Wherever I go you are always on my mind Wherever you are you are never left behind People may say you're a man Who'll never change But you're not the man You were yesterday And may he rest in peace Just let go and feel the breeze Wherever I go you are always on my mind Wherever you are you are never left behind Don't Sleep All Day Baby Jay It's time to wake Breathe deep my dear Your chariot awaits

How Old Is Your Broken Heart And that dream that fell apart How long have you been holding on To that moment that's so far gone How Old is your bruised up broken heart Your eyes no longer gleam They're dimmed by your fading dreams While you're still holding on Clutching to memories How Old Is Your Broken Heart And that dream that fell apart How long have you been holding on To that moment that's so far gone How Old is your bruised up broken heart Time's etched upon your face and you keep hoping for a break But you're such a stubborn soul That's never gonna quit How Old Is Your Broken Heart And that dream that fell apart How long have you been holding on To that moment that's so far gone How Old is your bruised up broken heart Life's taken a hammer to your heart once again It's cruel how fate will have it's way dancing on your grave How Old Is Your Broken Heart And that dream that fell apart How long have you been holding on To that moment that's so far gone How Old is your bruised up broken heart

When you swept me off my feet I think we'd both agree it was a foolish thing A kiss that passed by like a cloud Cause When I come around You're Nowhere to be found I think I made a mistake Cause I'm feeling so strange I must be kissing ghosts I must be kissing ghosts The Way You Disappear I must be kissing ghosts I must be kissing ghosts The Way You Vanish When I'm Near When I fell into your arms I was caught off guard And gave you my heart I’m not the type to fall in love So hard and fast That I lose my path I think I made a mistake Cause I'm feeling so strange I must be kissing ghosts I must be kissing ghosts The Way You Disappear I must be kissing ghosts I must be kissing ghosts The Way You Vanish When I'm Near Ooooh an apparition Ooooh a ghostly vision Cover me in shadows and pray for love to carry me home I must be kissing ghosts I must be kissing ghosts The Way You Disappear I must be kissing ghosts I must be kissing ghosts The Way You Vanish...

After the war and now that they've sent us homeward I can't help but feel on my own No one can see what this conflict has done to The minds of the men on their way home Scarred for life but it's not my flesh that's wounded So how can I face this torment alone Vivid scenes and recurring nightmares I lay there and sweat until it gets light... Fortunes of War Fortunes of war no pain anymore People say "Don't worry" that time's a perfect healer That the nightmares will come to pass Can't hear what they're saying Living in my own world Feeling trance like all the time I hear voices in my head Could I really be going crazy? At night the visions seem so real Do you care if you live or die When you laugh are you really crying You're not sure what's real anymore You're not sure what's real anymore Fortunes of war Fortunes of war no pain anymore You're not sure what's real anymore You're not sure what's real anymore Sometimes when I wake I feel my spirit's broken Do I have the strength to carry on? I feel my spirit's broken I feel my spirit's broken

about

Thank you to everyone who nudged me to make a new solo album. There are some songs that have been neglectfully unrecorded, like “Born To Die” and “Kissing Ghosts” - which many of you have heard me play live, along with some other old school country heartbreak songs. I'm so happy with how it has turned out and it was really beautiful to get back in with a live band and record.

Thanks for choosing to support the making of this album by buying/pre-ordering it!
